Hello Ellington Schools Community,
 
I am pleased to introduce myself as the new Chair of the Board of Education. I am dedicated to serving our community by ensuring the highest standards in our educational policies and practices.

Last night, the Ellington Board of Education held a special meeting and went into executive session with the Board’s attorney, Thomas Mooney, to discuss three agenda items related to personnel matters. There were no motions made following the executive session, and no formal actions were taken. The Board fully expects to be able to provide an update on these agenda items in the near future.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carefully ensure compliance with our BOE policies and Connecticut State laws.

Our next regular board meeting is scheduled for December 17th at 6 PM. You are always welcome to attend in person at Ellington High School or join us online.
